Schwarzenegger vs. EMA/ESA becomes Brown vs. EMA/ESA
Any day, the U.S. Supreme Court could render a decision that alters the video game landscape, but it won't be in the case Schwarzenegger vs. EMA/ESA.
Due to U.S. Supreme Court protocol, Schwarzenegger vs. EMA/ESA is now Brown vs. EMA/ESA to reflect the name of California's current governor — Jerry Brown.
Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed the video game law in 2005. The law — which would have restricted the sale of computer and video games — was struck down in 2007 by the United States District Court in California.
Schwarzenegger's video game law was never enforced, but a decision is expected to be handed down in the next two months.
Find out what you can do to ensure that bad computer and video game bills never become law.
